Returns Procedure

Due to the bespoke nature of the service we provide, unless there we have made an error in the print, returns will not be considered. Nor will we accept returns for natural fabric prints that exhibit natural deviations.

In the unlikely event that you receive damaged/wrong goods, please notify within 7 days of receipt and replacement goods will be re-dispatched on return of faulty items, or a full payment refund will be made to you.

We cannot accept liability for returned goods lost or damaged during transit – you are advised to wrap the product carefully to avoid damage. You are also advised to ask for proof of purchase when you post goods back to us, so that you can make a claim should the parcel go astray. The cost of returning goods will be borne by you.

Please remember that Lacuna Press prints the design you provide, and that you are responsible for ensuring your design does what you want it to do. Our preparing your image for printing page describes how we will treat your image, and forms a part of these terms and conditions.

Lacuna Press will not accept any liability for defects or faults occurring as a result of processing or after treatment by an external source, and will not accept any claims for any loss or issue arising thereafter.

Consistency of Prints

As with any process where colour matching is required, e.g. buying paint, buying yarn, buying fabric, we strongly recommend that you buy all the fabric you need in one batch, because although printed colours should be very similar from batch to batch, they may not be absolutely identical.

Caring for your Lacuna Press Fabric

Our caring for your fabric page describes how to look after your custom fabric, and forms a part of these terms and conditions.

We have extra information about our fabrics on our Fabric Prices page, which forms a part of these terms and conditions.

Occasional Stray Ink Marks on Print

Our environmentally friendly printing process uses water-based pigment inks. Pigment inks have bigger molecules than dye-based ink. The bigger molecules lodge in the fabric, giving longevity and water-fastness to the print.

Because of the larger size of pigment ink molecules, occasional small ink blockages occur during printing, which can cause spots on the printed fabric.
We take every effort to reduce this by continual cleaning and maintenance, but it is not entirely avoidable. Therefore, the odd stray small ink mark/spot is not considered a defect in our printed fabrics. If it were, we would have to reflect this in a substantially increased price and longer turnaround – it is therefore a tradeoff for you to make between speed and cost of the somewhat artisan pigment printing process against other methods.

Please note that any extraneous marks on the reverse of the fabric that do not show through to the printed side will not be considered to be a defect.

If you are dissatisfied with your fabric, please Contact Lacuna Press. All enquiries must be received within 7 working days from receipt of your goods.
